MCT Ambassadors

CBHB43SUYAAoe0f

Very honored to be chosen as an MCT Ambassadors at Microsoft Ignite 2015.  What is an MCT Ambassador? They are a group of experienced IT pros and developers who have built their careers and businesses around learning, teaching, and consulting on various Microsoft (and other) technologies. As Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT), they actively train technologists from around the world in classrooms or online. During Microsoft Ignite week, you will have access to their brains and expertise when you visit Certification Central or our booth, for FREE! In addition, many of them will be leading the exam prep sessions to help you ace your exams onsite.

Catching Fire

Ignite

Just finished registering for Microsoft Ignite. In case you didn’t hear, Microsoft has combined multiple events including TechEd into one big event. Five days of all the best speakers on the future of Microsoft products. In addition, we will be holding the annual MCT Day on May 2nd. Several of us MCT Regional Leads from the Midwest have already started organizing this year’s event and we have some great ideas to build on last years amazing turn out. (Yes, I know we are technically still in this year on the calendar.)

I can’t tell you how excited I am to again attend such great events. Especially when they are just a three hour drive from my house.

MCT Dinner

MCTDayDinnerredwine

What an awesome MCT dinner. Exclusively sponsored by New Horizons and Microsoft. Being as I was the only New Horizons representative, they presented me with a bottle of wine. (I don’t think the TSA will let me have it on the airplane so I will need to find a way to dispose of it before my trip back to Indiana.)

On the way to MCT day

MCT-Day-Logo2

On my way to the airport for my flight to Houston, TX.  Saturday is MCT Day, then Sunday night the MCT Dinner. Not to mention, the rest of the fun week I will be spending at TechEd. Hope to see some of you at one of the many events over the next week.
