Returning back to Cleveland the weekend for another SQL Saturday. I am presenting a brand new session on “The Vocabulary of Performance Tuning”.  This session is built for the absolute beginner to learn the terminology of performance tuning and how queries are processed. We will see how this affects Batches, Transactions, and Errors. Next we get into how data is stored in data pages and the structure of tables and indexes. To finish the session, we will take a look into Execution Plans.
