Summer Tour 2021

Baseball Hall of Fame

Before the pandemic I had planned and scheduled a summer tour to hit the last remaining State (Louisianna) on my list of continental states to visit and several landmarks I had yet to see.

Well, after an 18-month delay to the plan, I finally set off on an adventure. Starting with a flight to New Orleans to see the National World War II Museum and of course Bourbon Street. After a few days, I flew back home before a massive road trip to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. On the drive there, I made stops at Niagra Falls and Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell. While on the way back I stopped at the American Civil War Museum and Gettysburg National Military Park.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to get back out and get in some traveling time. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get into Canada on this trip to see Niagra Falls from the other side of the border. So, there may be a repeat of this road trip in a few years.
